When working on a brand you can easily invite other users to help you collaborate on your brand project. There are two different options when inviting users, you can either invite them to a specific brand or you can invite them to your team.
How to invite a collaborator to a specific brand.
First things first, be aware that you do not have to invite people who should receive and use the finished guideline into Brandpad as a user. When a brand is published, they will get access to the brand without a user profile.
To invite a collaborator to a specific brand, head over to Folder -> Brand settings -> Access -> Collaborators.
Once there, enter the email of the person you would like to invite and click Send invitation. When the person you have invited accepts the invitation and logs in, they will have access to the brand and be able to edit it.
Inviting users to a brand is relevant when you are collaborating with a designer or a studio on a brand, or when you want to invite a client to the brand. Users invited to a brand will only have access to that specific brand and not the other brands in your account.
Collaborators who are invited to edit a brand will be asked to create their own account and they will start a 21-day trial. Once the trial is over we ask that anyone who needs editor access to our system choose a plan so that we can ensure continuous updates and support to all our users.
How to invite a user to your team.
Inviting users to your team gives them access to all the brands and settings in your account and will also allow them to create new brands. All plans come with unlimited users.
To invite users to the team, go to Account -> Team -> Users. Click on Add another user and enter the email of the person you would like to invite. Once they accept the invitation they will get access to the account and all the brands in the dashboard. They will also be able to start new brands.
