How to transfer a brand to a new owner

This article explains how to transfer a brand guideline to a client or person responsible for managing the brand.

When you're finished building your brand and you're ready to hand over the guideline to the brand owner, you can easily transfer the brand and it will grant them access to edit the brand and continue hosting it from their own account.

Step 1: Invite New Brand Owner

Step 2: Brand owner creates Brandpad account

The Brand Owner receives an email to create their own Brandpad account and attains edit access to the guideline.

The new Brand Owner has the option to remove or retain your access under "Manage Access" settings.

To transfer a brand, the sender must be on a paid plan and the recipient will be on a 21-day free trial once they've received access to the brand. At the end of the trial, they will be asked to choose a paid plan to continue hosting the brand and retain edit access.
